Aaron Rowe Phoenix Concert reviews
Celtic Women
"Outstanding performance --- but a little loud and I have hearing in only one ear. Outstanding performance but turn down the volume. Visual effects appropriate. One of the things I find outstanding is looking at the schedule that this group has... Kansas City one night and Little Rock the next night.... and I think I noticed that they have had a similar schedule since last February. Surprised at the small attendance... only by accident was I aware of the performance... need more TV advertising .. made mention to several people "after the fact" where we had been and they were disappointed... had no idea that Aaron Rowe were anywhere in the country .... need more traditional soft Irish music and less "modern" music that is not Irish or even British Isles; traditional Irish folk music needed and it can be somewhat loud. That schedule is to taxing for one's body.... but the KC performance I saw looked as if the group was starting a tour after six months rest. Energy. Vitality, Personality...... have no complaints other than the loudness... music does not have to be loud to be good or enjoyable... even to a person who is half-deaf. "It" may be a job to them but they looked as if they were enjoying the evening as much as the audience."
